I. Verification of Employment Documents
A. Accreditation OF Brunei manpower Agencies

    • (2 sets of the following documents)
    • Application for Registration with POEA
    • Business Registration (Section 16 & 17) Form X
    • IC of the Owner
    • Agreement between BMA and PRA/Recruitment Agreement for Direct Employer
    • Special Power of Attorney to PRA
    • Job Order/Manpower Request
    • Approved Labor Quota
    • Standard Employment Contract
    • Philippine Recruitment Agency License issued by POEA
    • Authorization & IC of the one submitting the documents from employer
    • Picture of the Office of BMA
    • Note: Subject to results of physical on-site verification
    • Payment: B$57.00

A.1 Prequalification of Brunei Manpower Agency to Recruit Filipino Household Service Workers
Application Form for Pre-qualification of Brunei Manpower Agency in POEA To

    • Recruit/Deploy Household Service Workers (HSWs)
    • Undertaking of Brunei Manpower Agency (BMA) for the Deployment of HSW
    • Picture of Holding Facility

A.2. Other Documents for Verification

    • Renewal of Accreditation/Recruitment Agreement

B. Household Service Workers (HSW)
(2 sets of the following documents)

    • Standard employment contract duly notarized by the Magistrate Court except when the employer personally submits/signs the documents in the presence of the Labor Attache
    • Visa Approval
    • Labor Quota
    • Information Sheet of the Employer with supporting documents
    • IC of the Employer
    • Undertaking of Employer
    • Copy of the Passport of the worker
    • Payment: B$19.00

C. Professionals and Other Job Categories
(2 sets of the following documents)

    • Contract duly notarized by the Magistrate Court (w/repatriation clause) except when the employer personally submits/signs the documents in front of the Labor Attache
    • BUR 500 - bring original copies
    • Visa Approval - bring original copies
    • Labor Quota
    • IC of the employer/any of the directors in the business registration (Sec. 16 & 17 or Form X)
    • Business Registration Sec. 16 & 17 or Form X
    • Copy of the Passport of the worker
    • Authorization & IC of the one submitting the documents from the employer
    • Payment: B$ 19.00

II. Issuance of OVERSEAS EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATE (OEC) (Balik-Mangagawa)
OFW Information Sheet

    • Original Passport with Re-entry visa and valid employment pass
    • Certificate of undertaking or contract showing the salary of US$400.00 or B$600.00 (for HSW only)
    • Payment - B$4.00

III. OWWA MEMBERSHIP
Copy of OFW Information Sheet

    • Original Passport with valid employment pass
    • Payment - B$42.00

    Good day!
    I just want to ask your good office regarding employment of nurses. I am interested in working in one of the hospitals in Brunei Darussalam and luckily, somebody offered me an opportunity to do so. In light with this, i would like to confirm if the process presented to us is valid. I was asked to sign the contract without the seal of the Philippine Embassy (in Brunei) nor the hospital's. After signing, the contract will be sent to the hospital in Brunei for the Employer's signature and Philippine Embassy's. then, the contract will be sent back here in the philippines (in Makati) for the embassy's signature. After which, we will be called to process it in POEA. Moreover, i was informed to send my supporting documents to one of the HR Personnel in the hospital where I was planning to apply and right then, my VISA will be processed. Since i dont have my passport yet, i told them it will follow. They agreed and my VISA will still be processed. Are all these information in legal manner?
